Vietnam E-visa Online Application
The E-visa Vietnam program allows foreign citizens of eligible countries that hold a passport valid for at least six (6) months after arrival to Vietnam, to travel to and within the Socialist Republic of Vietnam for up to 90 consecutive days. It is electronically issued, a single or multiple entry visa that must be requested at least two (2) days prior to the departure date.

In February 2017 the Government of Vietnam implemented the E-visa, an electronic visa for travelers to request their travel documents for Vietnam. The new online process simplifies the procedures to enter Vietnam by permitting travelers to apply directly online for a visa. Hence, there is no longer any need to apply for an "approval letter" which requires standing in line upon arrival while it is processed and paying an additional fee of $50 for a "visa on arrival" stamp.

The E-visa for Vietnam is available for tourists, business travelers, visiting relatives and other purposes. With the Vietamese E-visa all eligible travelers can enter Vietnam once and remain for a maximum of ninety (90) consecutive days. All eligible foreign citizens should apply online for their E-visa before traveling in order to avoid extra hassle upon arrival in Vietnam.
